The Webby Awards have been honoring the best of the internet since the 90s. In our second collaboration with the organization, we developed the kinetic identity for their 28th edition of the Webby Awards Show, under the theme ‘One Giant Leap'. As part of our work, we executed the event’s show opener, a 90 second video that mixed design, animation, sound and internet content. We leveraged motion in the form of gradients and variable type to create a dynamic world that honored the vastness of the internet and set the tone for the Webby's biggest night of the year.
